As two parts in a single building, the aim of this project was to repurpose the expanse of spaces to connect both to enable a much larger facility (than the one the Church extended and has outgrown). On the ground floor, the existing part car park is extended with the demolition and relocation of staircases / fire escapes. A new mezzanine slots in usable space in the otherwise tall floor to floor gap and proposes a series of ancilliary spaces along both lengths of the building which have access to natural light and ventilation. On the first floor is proposed one main auditorium, while also creating a series of side rooms that could function independently.
